HE is waiting for us to stand before him full of humility, seeking HIS help and guidance alone.
Call on your Lord with humility and in private: for Allah loveth not those who trespass beyondbounds. Do no mischief on the earth, after it hath been set in order, but call on Him with fear and longing (in your hearts): for the Mercy of Allah is (always) near to those who do good. – (Surah Al-A’raf:55-56)
So often when we engage in spiritual acts, we act as if it is merely something to get done and out of the way. We pray hurriedly and supplicate, assuming that just because we have gone through the physical motions of prayer, our supplications will be answered. Our entire heart and soul MUST be central to the entire process and you must truly be sincere to Allah.
